"Baglap" by Francesco Marcellino
Baglap is an object created from a careful observation of the habits of 'urban nomads' combined with a desire to enhance the extraordinary sensoriality and aesthetic qualities of Alcantara® with simplicity.
Baglap is both a light, durable bag to protect laptops and documents and a “mobile desk” that can be used in many different situations.
Baglap is an extraordinary object, with a sensual shape formed of a central structure in polyurethane foam, covered almost completely with soft Alcantara® giving it a beautifully soft, luxurious touch. It embodies the sensoriality and aesthetic and functional values that have always distinguished Alcantara®, in an original yet simple way. In Baglap, these qualities have found a natural fulfilment.
